**General Summary**:
Develops, provides, and executes sourcing strategies, options, working with internal customers to conclude decisions based on technology, cost and schedule requirements, and then drives procurement to completion. Drives business aspects of complex, high impact supplier agreements in collaboration with suppliers and internal cross-functional organizations. Responsible for contract negotiations, cost, technology enablement, device development, and services to ensure capacity and supply assurance.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience with design, development, R&D, or similar experience in Electronics or related area.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Contributes to the development of sourcing processes based on an understanding of company policies and procedures, as well as standard and Qualcomm's sourcing principles, theories, and concepts.
- Executes sourcing strategies and protocols plans for in accordance with supplier engagements or agreements for one's assigned area of responsibility.
- Provides sourcing options and recommendations to internal customers based on technology, cost, risks, and schedule requirements. Manages sourcing issues within constraints and escalates other issues as needed.
- Collects and analyzes data from different sources to identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Executes contracts in alignment with negotiations, including licensing of IP for integration into end products, pricing, device development and/or supply assurance.
- Collaborates with individuals internally and externally to complete project work.
- Manages individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in line with established processes.
- Adapts to significant changes and setbacks in order to manage pressure and meet deadlines.

**Level of Responsibility**:

- Works under some supervision.
- Provides supervision to direct reports.
- Decisions are moderate in nature. Errors are detected and corrected with relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships. May require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.
- Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. Role may require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.
- Most tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.
- Creativity is needed to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.
- Deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required.

The responsibilities of this role do not include:

- Does not have financial accountability.
- Has no influence over key organizational decisions.
- Does not have a role in strategic planning.
