Semperit is an internationally oriented group that develops, produces, and sells highly specialised rubber products. Our production plant is nestled in a peaceful rural setting in Austria, providing an opportunity to work in a tranquil environment away from city life.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Administrator to share a unique part-time role coordinating the daily dispatching of worldwide shipments. You'll work alongside another Logistics Administrator, alternating weeks of work, providing an interesting balance of active work and personal time. This role operates within well-defined and standardized processes, but within these boundaries, you'll have the autonomy to manage your tasks and responsibilities effectively.
**Key Responsibilities and Opportunities**:
- Daily dispatching of worldwide shipments (including customs clearance), following standardized processes.
- Creation of shipments in SAP and preparation of delivery documents in accordance with established procedures.
- Opportunity to take ownership and responsibility within the boundaries of established processes.
- Active role in improving information flow with warehousing & stakeholders.
- Smooth coordination and handover process with your job-sharing colleague.
**Work Schedule**:
This is a part-time role with a unique work schedule: you will work a full week of 38 hours every other week, alternating with your job-sharing colleague.
**Requirements**:
- Regular graduation.
- Minimum 2 years of logistic experience.
- Communication in English is an asset.
- Freight forwarder certificate (Speditionskaufmannsprüfung) and/or experience in logistics at a shipper is a plus.
- Customs knowledge is favourable.
- SAP Knowledge is a plus
