Job Title: Head of Supply Chain Alpine
Location: Vienna, Austria (preferred), Zug, Switzerland (alternative)
**Job Description**:
- Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Northern Europe, the Head of Supply Chain Alpine leads the combined Switzerland and Austria Market Supply Chain function and provides strategic direction for plans associated with demand, supply, distribution, and customer service._
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Market Supply Chain team, providing strategic direction for demand, supply, distribution, and customer service activities.
- S&OP Governance: Drive Market S&OP governance, collaborating closely with finance and sales to ensure full visibility of all risks and opportunities, and alignment on unified forecasts in both volume and financials.
- Demand Planning: Analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and regulatory changes to anticipate supply chain needs and challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, manufacturing, and finance to develop integrated business plans.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and develop action plans to minimize excess and obsolete inventory while ensuring product availability.
- Distribution and Logistics: Manage transportation, warehousing, and logistics service providers to optimize costs and service levels.
- Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the supply chain team to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar market supply chain role with budget accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to develop short to long-term (1-5 years) operational plans for optimizing the organization or function and executing strategies.
- Business partnering mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, and hands-on mentality.
- Strong team player with effective communication and people management skills.
- Fluency in English and German is essential, proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
