Medical Physicist

**EBG MedAustron GmbH** in Wiener Neustadt operates one of the most modern centers for particle therapy and research in Europe. Cancer patients are treated with an innovative form of radiation therapy with protons and carbon ions. In addition to cancer treatment the facility is also used for translational research.

Our Medical Physics team is responsible for acceptance and medical commissioning of all medical devices related to ion beam therapy. We use state-of-the-art robotic systems and novel imaging procedures here.

**Become part of the Medical Physics team as a**

**Medical Physicist (f/m/x)**:
**Full-time (40 hours) / 8 months limited**:
**Challenges** you conquer**:

- Specification, acceptance, commissioning and QA of medical software systems (TPS, OIS, R&V)
- Quality Assurance at the treatment machine (dosimetric QA and in-room-QA)
- Medical physicist at the treatment machine (MoD)
- Patient-specific QA

**A background** that impresses:

- Academic studies (Master degree or PhD) in Medical Physics, Physics or similar
- Ideally 1 or more years of clinical experience in Medical Physics
- Experience in particle therapy is an advantage
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Very good English skills and at least basic German knowledge
- Hands-on mentality, flexibility and team spirit
- Good presentation and communication skills in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment

For the advertised position we offer a gross annual salary starting from € 64.107,54 (on a full-time basis) with the possibility of overpayment, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
