Plating Operator V

TE Connectivity's Plating Teams operate assigned automated plating machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

**What your background should look like**:

- Scope of duties:

- You will be in charge of the Cu
- Ni electroplating plant as part of a team and will be responsible for the smooth process flow.- You will electroplate Cu-Ni coatings according to program specifications on the system
- You are responsible for maintenance and small repairs as well as for order and cleanliness of the plant and the electroplating environment.
- You maintain the electroplating baths, respectively you are responsible for the waste water treatment.
- You are responsible for the compliance with the process parameters
- You contribute to the further development of our high work safety standard.
- You cooperate in improvement measures of the electroplating processes.
- You are responsible for product quality, which is ensured by process quality control

**Requirements**:
- You have successfully completed a technical vocational training (apprenticeship, HTL, technical college).
- Relevant work experience is an advantage
- You have no problem to work in shifts on weekends, 24 hours/week. During the training period (approx. 3 months) it is necessary to work in 3-shift (full time).
- You have very good knowledge of German
