Who you are
To succeed in the role of Retail Expansion Project Manager (internally called Establishment Project Manager) you need to have the following:
- Extensive knowledge of the Retail Estblishment Process and a proven and strong project management and cost management skills.
- Knowledge of IKEA Retailing and operational requirements for our units.
- Knowledge about Ingka governance process and elaboration of investment requests.
- Knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision.
- Knowledge of local Retail Country strategies, priorities and expansion planning process.
- Knowledge of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in IKEA.
**Responsibilities**:
With the customer at the heart of everything we do, Expansion takes responsibility for developing and implementing the strategic expansion plan in the country. Expansion acts upon business needs based on insights and optimize accessibility to enable maximum penetration of the country. Expansion is responsible for implementing our retailing concepts and securing that we fully utilize our
assets in the new world of IKEA - all at lowest cost, with economy of scale and sustained profitability.
- Responsible and leading a project in time, in budget and with the right quality
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of working methods in establishment and project management
- Support and lead a team in the establishment of the project
- Lead, coach and develop a high performing team that will strongly contribute to the objectives and goal.
- Take a lead and collaborate in working across functions
- Ensure that lessons learned have been documented and shared.
- Take lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model and inform, engage and empower our co-workers.

For this fulltime position we offer you a monthly gross salary starting from monthly € 3.764;
- on fulltime base with an all-in-contract. We are willing to pay significantly more depending on experience and qualification.
