Strategic/tactical Buyer Electronics

**Location: Austria, Brunn/Gebirge**:
**In this position, you will play a pivotal role in the transformation process of our procurement function. With your knowledge and passion for procurement, you will work with a dedicated team to further develop the area.**

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring developments on the international procurement market, conducting market analyses and identifying suitable suppliers as part of your category strategies.
- Independently establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships with suppliers, whilst managing a competitive supplier base
- Negotiating contracts and conditions with suppliers
- Developing criteria for monitoring supplier performance and carrying out regular performance checks
- Acting as a competent interface to internal partners such as the R&D and Production departments

**Your Qualifications**:

- Technical and/or business education (HTL/Uni/FH)
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position (preferably in a production company)
- Outstanding experience and skills in stakeholder management under demanding circumstances
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex procurement challenges
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
