**What You’ll Do**
The Regional Safety Health Environment (SHE) & Security lead premix is responsible to develop a knowledgeable, engaged and disciplined SHE culture and to achieve a compliant and SHE incident free workplace at our Premix sites in Europe. This role will bring recent acquired sites in Austria and Germany up to standard.

Regional travel: 30-40%

**Your key responsibilities**
- Lead, coach, train and provide support to the Animal Nutrition Health (ANH) Premix sites, Warehouses, and offices in the region to develop and maintain their SHE & Security capabilities and leadership resulting in a knowledgeable, engaged and disciplined SHE culture.
- Lead and support effective, efficient, and sustainable implementation of SHE and Security standards and programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and deliver an excellent performance at all DSM premix locations in the region in close collaboration with regional management, site management and site SHE representatives.
- Represent SHE in the ANH regional teams and coordinate SHE & Security topics closely with the Regional SHE lead and Global SHE lead Premix.
- Ensure good communication from SHE & Security perspectives from and to the Global SHE lead Premix & site SHE officers.
- Define and develop functional learn and improvement initiatives and ensure their sustainable implementation in the region.
- Support in incident investigations and reporting.
- Advise on SHE and Security aspects of investment projects.
- Conduct SHE & Security specific tasks in conjunction with local SHE Premix and production staff according to an agreed program with the Global DSM SHE department and Regional Premix Operations management.
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify risk and compliance gaps in SHE & Security.

**You bring**
- Educational level: bachelor’s or master’s degree in science (chemical, biotech) or engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Operations and Safety
- Minimum 5 years experience in production/industry work environment
- Relevant SHE & Security qualification/certification for the listed tasks
- Excellent communication, judgement, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
- Willing to travel regularly (~30-40%)
