- Profound knowledge in solid state and molecular spectroscopy

- IT user skills
- Professional expertise in surface science techniques such as photoemission spectroscopy and / or electron micorscopy and inelastic electron scattering and / or transport and optical techniques
- Professional expertise at large scale facilities (e.g. synchroton)
- Teaching experience / experience of working with e-learning
- Habilitation or equivalent qualification for independent teaching and supervision is beneficial
- For international cooperation with Japan profound knowledge of Japanese is advantageous
- Experience of working on research projects
- International presentation experience
