We are looking for a **Cybersecurity Analyst** in our Information Security team to join us on this exciting journey

**Tasks**

As our Cybersecurity Analyst at Prewave, you will
- Implement and maintain security controls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Develop and maintain an incident response plan and coordinate the response process during security incidents.
- Investigate security incidents, identify the root cause, and recommend remedial actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Track and prioritize identified vulnerabilities and work with relevant teams to implement appropriate patches and remediation measures.
- Develop and deliver security awareness programs, secure coding programs and training sessions to educate employees on security best practices and policies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security issues and provide effective solutions.

**Your Profile**

**Must haves**
- 5+ years experience in a development environment and secure coding techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent on computer science, information technology or a related field
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Professional attitude and work discipline
- Detail-oriented work and excellent communication skills
- Continuous learning mindset with a keen interest in staying updated with the latest security trends and threats.
- Proven experience in information security analysis, incident response, vulnerability management, and security controls implementation.

**Bonus points for**
- Master’s degree or higher on computer science, information technology or a related field
- Deep understanding of security technologies, strong technical expertise, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, TISAX, NIST Cybersecurity Framework) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, etc).
- A valid work permit in Austria

According to our collective agreement, the minimum salary for this role is EUR 3,455 gross per month, however the higher packages are likely based on your qualifications and experience.
