Medical Physicist

**EBG MedAustron GmbH** in Wiener Neustadt operates one of the most modern centers for particle therapy and research in Europe. Cancer patients are treated with an innovative form of radiation therapy with protons and carbon ions. In addition to cancer treatment the facility is also used for translational research.

Our Medical Physics team is responsible for acceptance and medical commissioning of all medical devices related to ion beam therapy. We use state-of-the-art robotic systems and novel imaging procedures here.

**Medical Physicist in Treatment Planning (f/m/x)**:
**Full-time (40 hours weekly)**:
**Challenges** you conquer**:

- Involvement in clinical duties with a strong focus on treatment planning
- Further development of the ion beam therapy technology with a strong focus on proton and carbon ion therapy
- Participation in acceptance procedures and medical commissioning activities
- Further development of our QA program
- Data analysis and automated evaluation of quality parameters
- Documentation of procedures and enhancements

**A background** that impresses:

- Academic studies (Master degree or PhD) in Medical Physics, Physics or similar
- Ideally 1 or more years of clinical experience in Medical Physics
- Experience in particle therapy is an advantage
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Very good English skills and at least basic German knowledge
- Hands-on mentality, flexibility and team spirit
- Good presentation and communication skills in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment

For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out that the minimum salary for this position is € 50,000 gross annually (on a full-time basis). However, our attractive salary packages are based on current market salaries.
