EHS Manager

Telecom HSE Manager with **NEBOSH** certification, responsible for overseeing and implementing environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures within the telecommunications industry. Play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, mitigating risks, and fostering a safe working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**EHS Policy and Compliance**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures that align with industry regulations and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national EHS regulations and standards.

**Risk Assessment and Mitigation**:

- Conduct risk assessments in telecommunications projects, identifying potential hazards and environmental impact.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and minimize environmental harm.

**Training and Education**:

- Provide EHS training and education to telecom employees and contractors, emphasizing safety protocols
- **Incident Management**:

- Establish and maintain procedures for reporting and investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- **Environmental Protection**:

- Monitor and manage environmental impact, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure that projects comply with environmental regulations, including permitting and reporting.
- **Safety Audits and Inspections**:

- Conduct regular safety audits and site inspections to identify non-compliance issues and safety violations.
- Recommend corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
- **Emergency Response**:

- Develop and manage emergency response plans for telecom projects.
- Coordinate emergency drills and ensure readiness for rapid response.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, inspections, and compliance.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies and senior management.
- **EHS Culture Promotion**:

- Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the telecom organization.
- Encourage the reporting of safety concerns and ideas for improvement
