Launch Lead

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a **Launch Team Lead - Chassis, Powertrain, and Finished Vehic**le** to join our Launch Team. This role will based in **Steyr, Austria.**

**What you will do**:
Reporting to the senior product launch manager, you will be responsible for leading the chassis, powertrain and vehicle launch analysis team whilst supporting design related and critical issues from investigation through to containment.
- Leading the Chassis, Powertrain, and Finished Vehicle Launch team to understand and react main issues across the main issues during the pre-production builds.
- Driving and supporting the development of the finished vehicle coordination
- Supporting the team through concern analysis, reaction and management of the containment activities to ensure successful delivery.
- Providing accurate data and reports to the business

**We would like you to have**:

- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent experience (desirable)
- Understanding and knowledge of vehicle architecture (ideally powertrain, chassis and aspects of BEV or hybrid systems)
- Experience of product development cycles and managing vehicle launch processes, ideally in a contract manufacturing environment.
- An ability to analyse Requirements, Models, Drawings in support of problem solving.
- A flexible hands-on approach with the ability to react and communicate according to the severity of the effect on the build;
