- Your activity for Group-IPS As a project manager:
You will be responsible for disparate projects of all sizes and in different stages:
- Strategic consulting - project definition, logistic studies, master plans
- Project feasibility - process description, plant layout, overall schedule, procurement strategy, financial plan
- Project preparation phase - investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing and procurement.
- Project implementation phase - project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operations management.
- You will plan and oversee the day-to-day activities of the project, such as project and schedule planning, resource allocation and budgeting, coordinate engineering services, and assist clients with purchasing. You will establish appropriate metrics to measure key project criteria, identify risks early and propose alternative courses of action. You will lead and supervise a team of project coordinators, assistants, professional engineers, designers, and client and supplier project stakeholders, depending on the size of the project.

**Requirements**:

- Master of Science in mechanical engineering, process engineering or comparable degree
- First professional experience in the metal industry
- Ability to work with diverse, multidisciplinary and multicultural groups
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and project team members
- Very good German and English skills
- Very good technical understanding, a solution-oriented as well as structured way of working
- Initiative, reliability and assertiveness
- Willingness to travel within Germany
