**Your Role and Responsibilities**

Are you a technology leader that can modernize the enterprise in a cloud native way? Are you interested in leading a team focused on Cloud Platform architecture and helping customers pivot their existing data center solutions to the cloud? If so, we'd love to hear from you Kyndryl is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with the skills to lead our Cloud Practice in providing infrastructure, migration, security, and reliability solutions.

Core responsibilities:

- Be a trusted technical adviser to customers and solve Cloud Infrastructure, Networking and Security challenges.
- Participate in requirements gathering, analysis and solution development for cloud-based solutions
- Architect highly available, highly secured, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
- Partner with delivery, architect, and operations team and other technical resources
- Lead projects driving cloud migration/adoption from inception to steady state
- Mentor and provide guidance to implementation teams while working in a coordinated manner to deliver and deploy the designed architecture
- Provide cloud technical expertise for POCs, drafting RFP responses, SOW creation and best practices recommendations in support of the overall offering life cycle and consulting engagement process
- Create solution architecture for customer required use cases
- Serve as a resource to the Product, Development and Offshore teams for cloud solutions in both hands on and advisory capacities.
- Stay current with cloud services and bring knowledge and recommendations to the team
- In addition to architecting new solutions, you will also drive dissemination of knowledge and best practices across our global engineering and operations teams, ensuring that all solutions are sustainable across the enterprise.

Day-to-Day activities
- Provide technical leadership specific to cloud architecture and solutions design.
- Designing solutions to meet the needs and business goals of customers
- Mentor and assist team members with Knowledge transfer and technical leadership
- Contribute where you time is most needed and provides the most benefit
- Stay Current with technology, Kyndryl abilities and market trends

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 10+ years of related experience
- In depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
- Architectural background in the Hyperscaler space.
- Must have experience driving for engineering solutions and working across teams
- Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
- Strong process improvement experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- In depth knowledge of Cloud Platform experience with AWS and Azure is a bonus
- Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures.

This position is classified in job family "ST1" according to the applicable IT collective agreement.

Your actual salary will be agreed in a personal interview, will take into account your professional experience and qualifications and may be significantly higher than the minimum salary according to the collective agreement.
