Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking an Accountant to join our global Accounting team. This is an in-office position that may be based out our Adelaide office.

What You Will Accomplish Here
As an Accountant you will have the opportunity to work in a team environment to maximize productivity by analysing financial information, preparing reports, and completing special projects, as assigned. You will be responsible for timely and accurate entries, posts, and invoices, as well as financial reporting. We are looking for someone with a foundation of experience that is comfortable working independently to fully own the responsibility of finances, budget, and accounting practices for our business.
**Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Posts employee timecards and expense reports.
- Accurately enters accounts payable invoices, obtaining proper approvals.
- Maintains fixed asset software, runs reports, and records depreciations.
- Prepares and maintains general ledger entries and reconciliations for month end closings.
- Generates invoices and ensures they, along with expenses, are processed accurately and timely.
- Maintains accurate data in the accounting system, Acumatica, including new tasks, revenue and expense budgets, and client bill rates.
- Invoices intercompany, domestic, and/or international clientele.
- Assists with bank reconciliations, as needed.
- Responsible for processing payroll for the Australia and Macau offices, including year end and tax reconciliations.
- Reviews proposals for specialized billing of fixed price projects.
- Analyzes aged accounts receivable reports and notifies project managers of overdue accounts.
- Prepares account analysis and transaction investigations.
- Maintains general ledgers and financial reports.
- Researches financial issues and recommends appropriate resolutions.
- Assists in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
**Experience, Education, Skills, and Credentials**:
- A minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in a related position is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Experience with Acumatica is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and with mínimal supervision.
- Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak English fluently to communicate with other members of the team and clients.
- Must have the ability to handle and organise multiple projects and deadlines.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
**Location**: This is an in-person, full-time position based out of our Adelaide office.
**Schedule**: Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
**Adelaide Pay**: AUD 90,000 - 105,000
**Travel**: Minimal to no travel is required.
