Simulation is currently seeking a

**Postgraduate Research Associate**
**project employment**

Extent of employment: 30 hours per week
Duration of employment: 1st of April 2023, limited to 31st of March 2026

Workplace: 1190 Vienna, Muthgasse 18

Gross monthly salary and pay grade in terms of collective agreement for university staff (payable 14
times per year): B1 € 2.458,00

**Responsibilities**

Be part of the Christian Doppler Laboratory “Molecular Informatics in the Biosciences”
Use alchemical simulation techniques to study the effect of mutations
Perform molecular dynamics simulations using GROMOS
Collaborate with a team of academic and industrial partners

**Required skills and qualifications**

Diploma degree in Biotechnology, Computational Sciences or other equivalent university
degree

Language skills: English
Strong background in computational and/or theoretical chemistry
Interest in the development of free-energy methods

**Desirable skills and qualifications**

Experience in molecular simulations of biomolecules
Good programming skills in C++ and/or Python
