To support its consortium of five Principal Investigators we are looking for a

**Scientific Manager (20h / week)**:
to be based at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Vienna and to start immediately or any time before February, 2025.

**Your role**:
In close collaboration with the consortium you will oversee the operation of the entire project. Your tasks will include:
Support and coordinate recruitment of new project member
- s Financial administration of the projec
- t Organization of events, seminars, meetings, conferences, travels and hosting visitor
- s Communication with partner institutions and funding agency (FWF
- ) Coordination of communication and transfer activitie
- s Coordination of scientific and financial reportin
- g Coordinate collaboration between other relevant research infrastructures locally, nationally and internationall
- y Maintain the the website of the projec

**Your profile**:
Ideally you have a background in natural sciences or engineering (a PhD is not neccessary) and experience in (scientific) project management. You communicate effectively and have an excellent command of the English language. Being a team player, you also have proven your leadership skills. Knowledge of and experience in the Austrian academic sector and experience in leading (research) projects are an advantage. Moreover, proficiency with web design (e.g. in wordpress) or a commitment to learn it is required.
