**A hotel with history**:
The legendary Grand Hotel Wien, on Vienna's elegant Ringstrasse, has been counted among the most luxurious hotels of Europe ever since it opened in 1870. Since then it has become a place of pilgrimage for the nobility, for the elite, for politicians, and for artists from all over the world. In 1894, Johann Strauss the Younger celebrated his 50th anniversary as a performer in the Ballroom of the Grand Hotel Wien.
**The perfect location**:
The location in the heart of Vienna is unique, directly at the Ringstrasse and only a few steps from the State Opera House and the most elegant shopping mile in the city, the Kaerntner Strasse.
**Splendid culinary selection**:
One of the leading Japanese restaurants in Austria, the "UNKAI", honoured with one toques and 14 points by Gault Millau, offers traditional Japanese food. On the ground floor of the Grand Hotel, in the "UNKAI Bar & Sushi", excellent sushi creations await the guest in an easy, relaxed atmosphere, and in summer with its own terrace. The Grand Brasserie in the "bel étage" of the establishment offers typical Austrian specialities and international dishes.

In the summer months, guests can savour exquisite dishes on the terrace at the seventh floor with a magnificent view over the roofs of Vienna.
**Your day to day**:

**We serve up truly memorable experiences for our guests. But could you be our new secret ingredient? We're searching for a Director of Food and Beverage to give our guests a taste of the high life by empowering our teams to deliver quality service and exceptional standards.**
**Every day is different, but you'll mostly be**:
- **Managing and delegating everyday duties for our team of committed hospitality professionals**:
- **Maintaining food and beverage equipment, facilities and stock levels to ensure exceptional guest and corporate experiences**:
- **Managing food and beverage standards to deliver against our commitment to responsible business practices**:
- **Working closely with the finance team to set, monitor and refine budgets and drive revenue**:
- **Multitasking to oversee multiple teams, kitchens and food outlets capable of catering to 500 people**
**What we need from you**

- **Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management**:
- **5 years of related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience**:
- **Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field preferred**:
- **Must speak German and English**:
- **Teamleader, great, communicative Host**
