**Job profile**:
Senior scientist with PhD (10 hours/week), Institute for Construction and Material Sciences, Materials Technology from March 1st, 2023.
Main tasks: Implementation of research work in the field of material cycle/recycling of building materials, participation in the fulfillment of research tasks in the work area as well as acquisition of research projects and third-party funds; teaching and examinations; Supervision of students including supervision of master and diploma theses as well as co-supervision of PhD thesis; Participation in organizational and administrative tasks of the work area; Support and participation in the organization and administration of the NanoLab (organization of renewals, maintenance and servicing of devices, installations and essential parts of the NanoLab; comprehensive care of assigned equipment; support of employees, students and external persons in the operation of this equipment; implementation and control of instructions and other organizational agendas of the NanoLab).
Required qualifications: completed PhD in technical sciences in the field of civil engineering, mineralogy or earth sciences; Excellent knowledge in the field of chemical/physical analysis, (geo)chemistry, microscopy, mechanical properties of building materials; Experience operating X-ray based equipment; Post-Doc experience or relevant work experience; Experience in the acquisition of research projects and in involvement in third-party funding; Excellent knowledge of German and very good knowledge of English; ability to work in a team; pleasure in participation in the laboratory; enjoy teaching and supervising students; leadership skills; communication skills.
