Internship in the field of “Knowledge management platforms for climate adaption - data collection”
- Center for Digital Safety & Security
- Through participation in national and international projects, we are developing knowledge management platforms for climate adaption to help different user groups figure out how best to address climate changes.
- As part of our multidisciplinary team in the research topic Environment & Climate, you will help to create and test a catalogue of questions for these knowledge management platforms during your internship.
- You will conduct a literature review, collect data sets and process them with the aim of being able to compile a comprehensive database with different "gaps" and "solutions" for climate adaptation.
- In a further step, you will conduct tests to find out whether the gaps and solution matching works well and thus ensure quality control of the data.
- Finally, you will discuss the results with our colleagues, and under their guidance you will carry out any necessary improvements and tagging.
- You will gain practical experience with one of the leading research companies in Austria.
- You will support us in our national and international projects and get exciting insights into our technological environment.
- You will have not only the opportunity to discuss your work experiences and results with experienced scientific peers, but also to connect with other bachelor’s, master’s or PhD students.

Your qualifications as an
**Ingenious Partner**:

- You study in the fields of crisis management, urban planning, climate adaptation or similar
- Careful and concentrated work is a matter of course for you
- Initial experience in crisis management or climate adaptation and how they work is a plus
- You have a high level of commitment and team spirit
- You have good knowledge of English in word and writing, any other language is beneficial

**What to expect**:

- **Start date**: possible as of May 2023
- **Duration of the internship**: between 1 and 6 months; weekly employment at least 38.5 hours
- A remuneration of at least EUR 1.168, - gross per month for 38.5 hours per week. In addition to our company benefits, we offer flexible working conditions and work experience in a highly innovative environment.
