The research group of Prof. Jutta L. Mueller (Psycholinguistics) at the Institute of Linguistics of the Faculty of Philological and Cultural Studies of the University of Vienna, is offering a position for a university assistant (post doc). The position involves the development of an independent research program in the field of psycho
- and neurolinguistics as well as teaching and co-supervision of more junior researchers. The research topic should fit into one of the broad topics of the group, including e.g. prediction in language processing, language acquisition and learning, or language and its interface with cognition. There is access to an EEG/fNIRS lab specialized for research with participants of all age groups. Additional methods that are available include f/MRI and eye-tracking.
The position involves active participation in research, teaching and administration. This includes
- Involvement in research projects (research design, data acquisition, data processing and evaluation)
- Developing and strengthening an independent research profile
- International publications and presentations
- Independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement
- Co-supervision of PhD students
- Participation in evaluation measures and quality assurance
