Our **Global Trainee Programme** offers you the opportunity to enter the fascinating world of light with the **Zumtobel Group**. As part of this **Trainee Programme**, you will get to know different areas within our Research & Development department and learn where you can actively **shape the future of light**. Accompanied by **experienced mentors** and **individual development measures**, the programme is the ideal start of your career in an **international company** where sustainability, innovation and the passion for light is at the heart of what we do.

**Your job**
- A thorough introduction phase in which you will get to know the company and the basics of our industry
- Working in the day-to-day business you will gain a broad overview and understanding of the Research & Development department
- Focus areas will be innovation and pre development of our lighting products
- Participating in the whole product development lifecycle from conception phase to launch
- Opportunity to support in topics such as light design, optics, electronics, material science and connectivity & controls
- Building a network beyond the department by collaborating in cross-divisional projects
- An international assignment in one of our global locations
- Rotation of working areas and projects during the programme

**Your profile**
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology oriented field, any of the STEM studies or innovation management
- You have ideally gained first professional experience in an international environment
- You have a strong interest in innovation and new technologies
- Your curios mind and positive attitude help you to continuously grow yourself and people around you
- You have the courage to step out of your comfort zone and your pro-activity is allowing you to be ahead of others
- You have excellent English skills and speak one more language fluently, German language skills are an advantage
