Master Thesis „Betriebsstrategien für Interregionale Wärmeübertragungsnetze“

- Im
**Center for Energy **arbeiten wir an Lösungen für das zukünftige Energiesystem. Eine dieser Lösungen hat zum Ziel, Energieversorger bei der Dekarbonisierung der Fernwärme zu unterstützen.
- Das Ziel ist dabei die Entwicklung und Evaluierung unterschiedlicher Betriebsstrategien für die Optimierung von Interregionalen Wärmeübertragungsnetzen.
- Als Teil unseres interdisziplinären Teams arbeiten Sie an der Weiterentwicklung und Anwendung bestehender Simulationsbibliotheken für Nah
- und Fernwärmenetze inkl. relevanter Komponenten.
- Im Rahmen der Masterarbeit werden interregionale Wärmeübertragungsnetze analysiert, die verbinden mehrere (i) industrielle Abwärme
- und andere nachhaltige Quellen, (ii) Fernwärmenetze, (iii) industrielle Prozesswärmesenken, und (iv) Speicher über viele Kilometer.
- Ziel der Masterarbeit ist die Entwicklung und Validierung von geeigneten Regelungsalgorithmen und Betriebsstrategien für interregionale Wärmeübertragungsnetze, inkl. der Berücksichtigung von Flexibilitätsoptionen, wie Speicher, Demand Side Management oder Nutzung des Netzes als Speicher über adaptive Temperaturregelungen.
- Das Gesamtverhalten interregionaler Wärmeübertragungsnetze bzgl. Reaktionsfähigkeit und Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit werden analysiert, inkl. der Berücksichtigung hydraulischer Engpässe und Kapazitätsbeschränkungen und dem thermischen Verhalten des Wärmetransportnetzes (d.h. Temperaturausbreitung, unterschiedliche Temperaturregime bei Angebot und Nachfrage).
- Durch die im Rahmen der Masterarbeit entwickelten Betriebs
- und Regelstrategien kann der Betrieb interregionaler Wärmeübertragungsnetze effizienter gestaltet werden sowie die Integration erneuerbarer Energieträger und Abwärme optimiert werden.
- Ihre innovativen Ergebnisse tragen maßgeblich zum Erfolg unserer Forschungsprojekte im Bereich der Optimierung von Fernwärmenetzen bei.

Als
**Ingenious Partner** zeichnet Sie aus:

- Laufendes Masterstudium, vorzugsweise im Bereich Energietechnik, Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik oder einem ähnlichen Bereich
- Gute Kenntnisse in Modellier
- und Programmierumgebungen (z.B. Modelica/ Dymola, TRNSYS, Matlab, Python etc.)
- Gute Kenntnisse von Betriebs
- und Regelstrategien für Fernwärmenetze, sowie der relevanten Komponenten (Speicher, Verbraucher, Erzeugungstechnologien und deren technische Modellierung
- Hands-on Mentalität und Lösungsorientierung
- Hohe Einsatzbereitschaft und Teamfähigkeit
- Ausgezeichnete Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch in Wort & Schrift
