Following the recent promotion of the current incumbent, we are looking for a self-driven and engaging Demand Planning Manager for our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team, located in Vienna.

As a Demand Planning Manager in our head offices in Vienna you will be responsible for the unconstrained Polyolefins demand plan - globally - and the finalization of the constrained demand plan for rolling 18 months with the objective of delivering on our strategic ambitions on growth, margin optimization, and an excellent customer service level.
You will drive the concept of “Value Add Demand Planning”, ensuring the optimal balance between resources spent in each planning step and resulting forecast accuracy. You will also lead the process of capturing demand for our affiliates and Joint ventures in Middle East, US, and Korea.
You will lead the Demand Planning team and will own and lead the S&OP Demand consensus meeting, 2nd step of the Borealis S&OP process

**During your tenure as Demand Planning Manager, we would expect you to**:

- Own the rolling demand planning process in Polyolefins and be a key contributor to the yearly business planning process.
- Lead and grow a motivated, high-caliber Demand Planning team, clearly identifying and developing your internal successor(s)
- Develop demand scenarios and combined demand/supply scenarios capturing asset loading and other gap closing opportunities.
- Lead the monthly S&OP Demand consensus meeting during which various monetized scenarios are evaluated and the unconstrained demand plan is approved.
- Deliver a constrained demand plan where available volumes are allocated in a way to balance optimal sales margins and the achievement of the desired customer service levels.
- Steer the Polyolefins sales, marketing, and Customer Service organizations in collecting data input, analyzing, and summarising information to define the rolling 18-month demand plan. Challenges sales and marketing organizations on demand-related issues.
- Guarantee adequate understanding of the S&OP process within PO, by using the different available forums.
- Be the Demand Forecasting expert in Polyolefins

**About you**:
We expect you to have a Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Business Management, Economics, Engineering, or related fields, a strong commercial understanding, and a minimum of five years of solid experience in similar international assignments - possibly in comparable industries.

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 100.800 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
