**Your Challenge**
We offer the opportunity to combine your academic career with practical challenges at a leading company in the packaging industry. The topic of "Knowledge Representation with AI" is waiting to be explored by curious and committed students. The specific tasks are:

- Develop a knowledge representation for polymer processing technologies.
- Explore different knowledge representation schemes, e.g. Knowledge graphs, etc.
- Use AI (e.g. LLM) for automatically generating the knowledge representation.
- Explore options on how to validate the models.

**Your Profile**
- You are currently studying engineering (e.g. polymer science, physics, chemistry, mechanics).
- You can work independently and show very good organizational skills.
- You have basic knowledge of programming and/or statistics.
- You are fluent in German or English.

**Our Offer**
We offer you a challenging area of responsibility with creative freedom as well as a modern and collegial working environment. The internship can start at any time in 2024 by arrangement for a maximum duration of 6 months. For this position you can expect a monthly gross salary of 1,842.23 based on the collective agreement for the chemical industry and based on 38 hours/week.
