**Institute for Financial Research**
Part-time, 30 hours/week
Starting October 01, 2023, and limited until July 31, 2028
Working as a PhD collegian offers you the opportunity to deepen and expand your professional and academic education, complete a PhD degree in Finance and get ready for future academic careers.

**What to expect**:

- Independent scientific work, especially on the dissertation as part of the PhD studies;
- Active participation on the most important conferences in the relevant area;
- Participation in teaching and research tasks as well as administrative tasks, taking into account the progress of the scientific work;
- Participation in organizational and evaluation measures, taking into account the progress of the scientific work;

- Participation in examinations;
- Independent implementation of courses and holding of examinations, taking into account the progress of the scientific work.
- Writing a dissertation: You will be investigating your research topic and spending a third of your working hours on writing your dissertation.

**What you have to offer**:

- Strong quantitative skills and interest in theoretical research on economic behavior of individuals and institutions
- Strong English skills
- Skills in working with data bases and basic programming (R.e.g.) beneficial, but not required
- Interest in pursuing a Ph.D. degree, fulfilling the formal requirements
- Experience in using multimedia teaching and learning formats or are at least willing to learn

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €2,457.98 (14 times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on job-related prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
