Sessional Eap Tutor

UCAIC is looking to appoint a number of highly motivated and inspiring EAP tutors to work in a sessional capacity as required for short-term projects. The appointed tutors will work closely with the In-sessional and Pre-sessional Leads to deliver in-house English tests, cover Pre-sessional & In-sessional classes, and carry out related admin, ensuring that this delivery reflects the mission, policies and regulations of the University and School strategic plans.

You will have a good degree, ideally accompanied by a Master's degree, plus a CELTA or DELTA. A PgCert teaching qualification is also highly desirable. You will have extensive experience of IELTS examinations, a strong grasp of the CEFR, and broader assessment experience of FE and HE students from B1 upwards. You will be confident and skilled in online teaching, including seminars and tutorials, and you will be collaborative and creative, with the ability to communicate supportively, clearly, and appropriately with staff and students from diverse backgrounds.

The pay rate will be £17.69- £19.83.
