About the role

At Cropster, we are building market-leading Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to empower businesses throughout the coffee supply chain. Thousands of customers all over the world from farm to cup use our software products to make better coffee.

Are you passionate about social media, advertising, design, and trends in media and specialty coffee? Does A/B Testing, analyzing engagement data, social media, performance metrics, and KPIs excite you? These are the key responsibilities of Cropster’s Social Media Marketing & Advertising Specialist.

In this role, you are a key member of the marketing team, with responsibilities to drive website traffic and conversions from social media, advertising, and other methods. You will play a key role in building Cropster’s position in the specialty coffee market, reinforcing our brand, generating awareness and traffic, and engaging in meaningful and authentic ways with our customers and the global specialty coffee industry.

The preferred locations for this role are Innsbruck or Vienna.

What you'll do
- Owning paid advertising campaigns including coordinating social media, print, digital media, and trade media partner relationships from concept, set up, and execution, creating content and creative assets, managing timelines, overseeing budget, and reporting on the success of campaigns.
- Defining conversion goals for advertising campaigns and social media activities through driving traffic to the website. Developing monthly social media content calendars with relevant content and creative strategy for a variety of social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
- Creating standardized social design templates for social media using Canva and with the support of the Brand Designer.
- Leveraging our social media platforms to build and grow an engaged community of Cropster followers, and identify new opportunities to extend our reach and engage our audiences.
- Proactively explore and recommend new ways, trends, and formats to improve advertising and social media performance, and to engage with the community (e.g. TikTok, YouTube Handles, etc.).
- Building and maintaining Cropster’s brand presence across all advertising and social media channels in accordance with our brand guidelines.
- Setting up and reporting on ad and social media tracking and metrics to improve performance based on the results, using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
- Analyzing Cropster’s social media and advertising efforts to identify weaknesses and constantly improve engagement and conversion rate of advertisements and social media campaigns.

Whom you\'ll work with
- Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and Brand Design to support the development of a quarterly advertising plan for each product, media partner, social media channel, and Google advertising.
- Various internal and external stakeholders, including our media partners.
- The marketing team to implement Cropster’s commercial strategy and the marketing plan.
- You will support the definition of our advertising and social media strategy, the formulation of targets, and building an effective budget to reach these.
- You will contribute to the website creation by uploading new pages, editing existing pages, and creating new blog post and event posts via Typo3.

We are looking for someone with
- Professional experience in Social Media Marketing, Performance Marketing, or Digital Marketing in an agency or in-house.
- Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders, develop schedules, and meeting timelines.
- Good knowledge of digital advertising, paid social platforms, and analytics tools.
- Experience working with Google 360 Suite: Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong competency and a research-based approach for trends in Social Media, particularly Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Strategic planning skills and clear articulation of the business goal behind the creation of a campaign or content.
- Analytical skills and target-oriented thinking, with the ability to innovate and be creative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

That said, we’d be particularly delighted to hire someone with
- Design skills appropriate for the creation of dynamic and effective advertisements and social media posts, using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design platforms.
- Passion for creating user-centric content, communications, and experiences.
- A proactive approach, willing to take responsibility and work together as a team.
