Assistant Professor/senior Lecturer in Consumer

**Your responsibilities**:

- Teaching and conducting examinations independently (the standard teaching load for this position is 10 units/week per semester (1 unit = 45 minutes of teaching). Supervising theses is counted towards the teaching load.
- Teaching courses such as Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing & Consumer Behavior, New Technologies in Marketing, Research Design, Global Marketing (undergraduate and graduate courses)
- Establishing relationships with stakeholders from the industry and developing a field of applied research related to the current and future challenges of consumer behavior.
- Contributing to the academic self-administration duties of the school and the university.

**Your profile**:
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in marketing, business administration, management, or a related field within the social sciences
- Evidence of research potential, preferably with a strong focus on new technologies in marketing (AR, VR)
- Profound knowledge of different research methods (qualitative and quantitative)
- Commitment to high quality teaching
- Ability to teach courses in the field of consumer behavior, market research and related areas
- Ability to attract external funding to support research programs and to successfully build collaborative research programs with other universities, research institutes and industry
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills; proficiency in German language is welcome.
