Team Member Travel Service

The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is a non-political and non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening and uniting European Radiology. With more than 120,000 members worldwide, it has become the largest radiological society that organises one of the most innovative scientific congresses in this field, the European Congress of Radiology (ECR), in Vienna.
The mission of the ESR is to serve the health needs of the general public by supporting scientific research as well as education and training while striving to improve the quality of radiological practice.
In addition to the existing team, the ESR is looking for a committed full-time team member (38.5 hours) to join our Marketing & Travel Service team.
Tasks
- Hotel purchase
- Contact and coordination with service providers
- Offer management
- Research of event-related services as well as trend scouting of innovations in the event industry
- Strategic planning, implementation and follow-up of meetings at domestic and international level
- Assistance at customer meetings and communication with suppliers
- Proactive support and assistance to the head of the department through reliable handling of administrative and organisational agendas
**Requirements**:
- Excellent German language skills
- Excellent English language skills (other foreign languages would be an advantage)
- Excellent MS Office user skills (especially Excel)
- At least 5 years of experience in tourism
- Experience in hotel purchase
- Amadeus experience would be an advantage
- Experience in the field of congress organisation would be an advantage
- Professional appearance and excellent manners
- Representative, extremely polite and customer-oriented behaviour
- Self-initiative with a high service orientation
- Negotiating skills and assertiveness
- Communicative and team player
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to travel within Austria and internationally

The monthly gross salary for this job vacancy is at least € 2,400 (14 times per year). The final salary depends on your relevant experience and qualification.
