Identification and evaluation of suitable suppliers and their offers in coordination with technology, project management and customers

Conducting market research in various procurement markets

Soliciting cost estimates and negotiating supply and framework agreements including prices

Supporting the preparation of detailed reports (KPIs) for information purposes

Supplier evaluation and risk management

Materials for procurement via the system

Supporting the creation of detailed reports (KPI) for information purposes

Supplier evaluation and risk management

Preparing materials for procurement via the system (master data maintenance and article creation in the ERP system) or processing orders

Supporting operational purchasing, e.g. processing order confirmations, scheduling appointments

: Processing order confirmations, deadline tracking, etc.

Processing complaints and escalation management

Building and developing the supplier network and maintaining long-term supplier relationships

Participating in internal and external audits
- Actively contributing to the optimisation of strategic and global purchasing processes**Your profile**:
Completed technical or commercial training (HTL, HAK, university, FH...).)

Multi-year professional experience in purchasing, ideally in steel and mechanical engineering

Cost awareness

Accurate and structured way of working as well as initiative

Entrepreneurial and analytical thinking

Sure handling of MS Office

Experience in working with ERP systems is an advantage (SAGE)
