Who you are
- You gained your first leadership experience ideally workingin a management function (preferably in warehouse operations and logistics).
- You know of Austrian health and safety laws, standards and regulations related to warehousing activities.
- You can analyse flows via excel, KPIs and take actions based on evaluation.
- You have the ambition to work in a high-performing environment and the ability to drive change.
- You love to communicate effectively to achieve your goals together with your team
- You can act as a strong leader and a team player with the ability to lead not only the many co-workers but also teamleaders.
- You play an active role within the unit management team to steer success in operations and also people topics.
- You are fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for daily operation in the warehouse to keep our customer promise of a 2 day lead-time.
- Responsible for overall warehouse goals setting, implementation of local business plans and commitment to achieve efficiency of warehouse operations to reduce cost, improve productivity and work spirit with total supply chain.
- Responsible for staff planning, shift
- and equipment planning based on volume forecast (MTP and STP) to secure operational business and activities to meet goods availability.
- Create co-workers quality awareness & behaviors to reduce damages.
- Secure that working processes are in compliance with IKEA rules and guidelines as well as laws and regulations are followed and maintained.
- Provide information about plans and results to co-workers and explain their overall importance.
