Quality Assurance Manager

We believe in the power of agile and cross-functional collaboration, bringing together people from various backgrounds to create outstanding digital solutions.YOUR JOB As Quality Assurance Manager, you will holistically drive the quality initiatives in the development team. You will identify and address risks, collaborate closely with the team, and ensure high quality standards throughout the project. Additionally, you will support the client on quality processes and contribute to the development of the QA department, while continuously developing your own skills.Your job’s key responsibilities are:Taking over the ownership of the quality in the projectPlanning, executing, and enhancing the testing strategy, release process, automation tests (UI, API, and performance), and documentation, while embedding them in the scrum teamEnsuring quality without dedicated testers by enabling your scrum team and developing effective quality processesEnsuring compliance with team processes while proactively recommending and implementing improvementsConsulting our clients on quality processes and continuously evolving the defect management processIdentifying quality risks and support implementing proactive mitigation strategies throughout the software development lifecycleMonitoring of quality metrics and implementing corrective actions to support continuous improvementContributing to the development of the QA departmentYOUR SKILLSEssential Skills 3+ years of professional experience in IT or software development areaExcellent communication skills in German (C1) and English (B2/C1)Ability to manage critical situations with professionalism and composureIn-depth understanding of the differences between quality control, quality assurance, and quality managementExpertise in implementing and managing quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecyclePractical experience with UI automation and an interest in API and performance testsBeneficial SkillsBasic skills in programmingRelevant certifications in the quality testing field (e.g. ISTQB Foundation Level)Working according to agile development processes (SCRUM, KANBAN, etc.)OUR OFFERWhile we’re one company, each location has unique aspects and benefits.
