We are seeking engineers in the following area:

Engineer for Commercial Vehicle Development (m/f/d) Specialization: Transmission Calibration Engineer

Aufgaben

- Develop and optimize transmission control strategies and calibration parameters to meet performance, drivability, and fuel efficiency targets.
- Conduct calibration activities for various transmission types, including automatic, manual, and AMT transmissions.
- Perform data analysis and interpretation to identify and resolve calibration issues.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of transmission control systems.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate transmission calibration in both laboratory and vehicle environments.
- Utilize calibration tools and simulation tools to model and predict transmission behavior.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in transmission calibration technology.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.

Profil

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial vehicle industry or a related field.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with CAE, MATLAB/Simulink, or industry-standard tools is a plus.
- Fluent English required; German is an advantage.

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from €4,000. Specific salary will be determined after job interview and mutual communication.
