See yourself in our team    Core to the functions of the Chief Operations Office (COO) is a focus on customer. We are the engine room of the Group and every single process that we execute has a significant impact on the customer experience. Within COO, the Financial Crime Services (FCS) function is accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing leadership of the Group’s financial crime shared services. We lead the Group’s approach to managing Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-terrorism Financing, Sanctions and other financial crime obligations. We are a team of approx. 3,000 dedicated individuals, and we partner closely with Line 2 Financial Crime Compliance and Line 1 Risk teams across the Group. Our external stakeholders are AUSTRAC and Law Enforcement.    Do work that matters    This Senior Communications Manager will flow to work across the FCS team. With strong cross-functional interaction and high visibility, you will spearhead the design and execution of the internal communications strategy and serve as key content creator.     In this capacity, you will support the Executive Manager in COO Corporate Affairs with an indirect reporting line to the Executive Manager of Financial Crime Change, Capability, Culture & Comms. You will play a pivotal role in executing internal communication plans and driving proactive engagement within the team as well as supporting strategic people & change initiatives.    On any given day, you will:   - Create and deliver communication strategies across FCS and FCO.  - Work closely with the FCS Executive General Manager and FCO General Manager to oversee and manage communications and engagement activity such as leader notes, All Hands, leader events and so on.   - Develop a strategic Communications calendar and organise and manage events accordingly.  - Provide leadership and direction to senior leadership to translate business priorities into effective communication strategies.  - Work with the broader Corporate Affairs team to ensure cross communication and alignment with the Group-wide strategy.  - Integrate measurement and evaluation into communications plans. Develop insights and outcomes each month to improve communication tactics and performance.  - Drive creative communication initiatives, rally stakeholders around new ideas, and execute strategies swiftly.    We’re interested in hearing from people who have:  - Significant experience in an internal focused communications role within a listed company, issues-rich and highly regulated environment, managing business communication strategy and implementation  - Experience in financial crime and supporting large-scale regulatory tech program (highly advantageous)  - Change management and employee engagement experience (desirable)  - A track record in developing, implementing, and measuring integrated and coordinated communication strategies  - Exceptional writing skills and ability to simplify complex messages  - Excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to work with multiple teams and functions to deliver strong outcomes.  - Strong issue management experience    If this sounds like your next career opportunity, we’d love to hear from you    _Working at CommBank_    _At CommBank, we support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half their time each month connecting in office.
