The Policy Officer will also prepare briefs and correspondence and provide secretariat support for stakeholder meetings. The role operates within a complex and dynamic environment that requires capacity to exercise sound judgement, and the ability to proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. Accountabilities Include \* Support the development and implementation of policy and program initiatives that meet government and departmental objectives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters. \* Prepare ministerial correspondence and briefs. \* Support the development and provision of advice and policy recommendations.
