**What will your typical day look like?** As a **Senior Analyst** within our Financial Services Tax team, you will provide tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse array of clients across the financial services sector including funds management, superannuation, insurance and banking. **Expect every day to be different** – assist with a client’s domestic and international compliance obligations on one day, and work on complex domestic and cross-border tax matters, or a significant transaction engagement, on another. Be part of a diverse high-performing and fast-growing team that really love what they do and be mentored by some of the best in this field. **No two days are the same in the Financial Services Tax team – **As a driven **Senior Analyst** you will work with a range of large well-known financial services clients, gaining deep knowledge of a variety of specialist investment vehicle types, investment structures, products, platforms and industry issues, cutting across a range of industry segments including funds management, infrastructure, property, public private partnerships, agriculture, renewables, insurance, banking and superannuation. **We provide a wide range of specialist tax services to an extensive and diverse array of clients – **These include investment structuring, due diligence assistance (buyer and seller side), ongoing tax compliance and tax advisory on a range of tax technical and industry issues, working closely with other teams across our tax practice locally, nationally and globally as well as with other parts of Deloitte. **Why Deloitte FSI Melbourne / About the team** You will be working with a **close-knit team of highly engaged high-performing professionals** in a fast-growing business, providing plenty of opportunities for personal growth and to contribute and collaborate on exciting projects. **Why Deloitte FSI Melbourne / About the team** You will be working with a **close-knit team of highly engaged high-performing professionals** in a fast-growing business, providing plenty of opportunities for personal growth and to contribute to and collaborate on exciting projects. Enough about us, let’s talk about you. **You are someone with:** - Experience working as an advisor to financial services clients. - Experience providing tax advice and tax compliance services. - Demonstrated ability to assist in the management of complex engagements. - Strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with our clients and cultivate new ones. - A self-starter attitude with an ability to drive results and take initiative to identify areas of opportunity. - Works well in teams with a high attention to detail. - Enthusiasm and a passion to learn, support, challenge and succeed.
