See yourself in our team We are looking for the very best Software Engineers to join our multi-year Enterprise Transformation Program. You will support the program to deliver an ambitious vision against customer objectives, to create enduring technology differentiation with unmatched digital experiences built on decoupled, resilient, and reliable technology foundations. The 3 key objectives for our customers are: - Enhance customer value through unlocking dependable digital experiences. - Increase delivery velocity & autonomy by unwinding complex legacy architecture. - Enable always available channels, powered by simpler and more resilient technology. We support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half your time each month connecting in office. We also have many other flexible working options available including changing start and finish times, part-time arrangements and job share to name a few. We’re interested in hearing from people who: - Are familiar with the full software development lifecycle with a focus on excellent UX, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure cloud pipelines, logging and monitoring. - Can provide code quality control through peer programming, code review and automated pipeline release management. - Are highly proficient in DevOps delivery pipelines (CI/CD). Tech skills: This is a highly technical role, requiring a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. You’ll be a good match if you have previous experience in: - Developing 3-tier application both on-premises and on cloud covering Frontend, Backend and Databases. - Frontend: React - Backend: .NET Core (preferred) or C# - Database: SQL and NoSQL experience (both admin and usage). - Infrastructure as code using CloudFormation (preferred) or Terraform. - Strong experience in AWS - Microservices design and implementation of highly scalable APIs. - At least one scripting/programming language (i.e. JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Python). - CI/CD tools (i.e. GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus). Beneficial competencies - Configuration Management - Application Security - Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) - Observability tools (i.e. Splunk or AppDynamics).
