**The Role** You are a skilled **React developer who is also comfortable creating and integrating with web API’s**, ideally having some experience with C# and .Net. You thrive on the opportunity to solve problems, take pride in your craft and actively seek continual improvement of self, team, and organisation. You will be self-motivated, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and enjoy contributing to the success of an Agile team. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a strong working understanding of the business and how our systems create value - Take ownership of work and responsibility for getting it done - Design technical solutions with the understanding of work priority, trading off perfection and delivery according to context - Write and contribute to well-designed, testable, efficient production-ready code (including CI & CD, unit tests for front end and backend) - Work collaboratively within the team from inception to production & assist other developers (PRs, mentoring) - Identify risks, issues and improvement opportunities and ensure they are escalated as necessary Skills and Experience: - 5+ years of commercial software development - 3+ years experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript - Familiar with creating API’s, ideally in C# & .NET Core / .NET 6+ - Strong working knowledge of API integration - Skilled at troubleshooting and debugging issues - Awareness of security, performance, and accessibility issues - Capable of mentoring and coaching team members as required - A bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, although not mandatory
