**The Role:** **Please note, this position will be located at our City West branch. ** As a Home Loan Specialist, you will build and maintain relationships with potential and existing BankVic members by identifying their financial needs and providing them with options on a range of our lending and banking products. You will assist members with all mortgage lending enquiries and lead them through their lending journey from the beginning, through to settlement. You will provide a specialized service that will help secure and enhance our members’ financial wellbeing. **Other key responsibilities:** ** ** - Educating our members on digital banking solutions. - Making outbound calls to new and prospective members. - Conduct phone, virtual, and in branch appointments with members to discuss their banking needs. - Build and maintain referral networks in the community by providing exceptional service. - Optimise opportunities to cross sell through needs-based conversations. - Maintaining knowledge of BankVic’s products and services. - Achieve and maintain individual and department targets. **To be successful in this role, you will have:** ** ** - Experience and knowledge in lending processes from application to settlement. - RG146 Tier 2 certification or be prepared to undertake such training. - Sound knowledge of financial services regulatory framework including AFSL and ACL obligations and Privacy legislation. - Demonstrated sales and/or lending experience preferred. - Knowledge and understanding of financial services and insurance products, financial services systems and automated loans processing. - Strong relationship building and communication skills. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team. ** ** **About BankVic’s benefits:** ** ** - Discounts and savings off a range of our products and services - Ambulance Victoria Membership reimbursements - Flexible working arrangements - Employee assistance program - 2 days paid volunteer leave - Ongoing professional development with access to study leave - Reward and recognition program
