Project Director

At PALFINGER AG, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our implementation and rollout projects, you will be responsible for coordinating work packages, conducting professional project planning, control, and reporting, and leading and coordinating interdisciplinary and international project teams.

• Coordinate work packages within projects
• Conduct professional project planning, control, and reporting
• Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary and international project teams
• Coordinate employees from various units and divisions, as well as external partners, within the context of projects
• Oversee project closure and handover to regular support and local business entities
• Further develop project management and rollout methods, standards, and tools used at PALFINGER

• 1-3 years of professional experience in managing projects within a corporate group or comparable organizations
• A degree in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Profound knowledge of common project management methods and tools (both classic and agile)
• Experience in leading international teams and managing external partners
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems is beneficial
• A structured, independent, solution- and goal-oriented approach to work, along with good communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work in a team
• Business fluency in German and English
• Willingness to travel (up to 20%)

• Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 50,286.18 based on full-time employment
