Cloud Native DevOps Engineer

We're building our Security SaaS Foundation from the ground up, and as a DevOps Engineer, you'll work on strategic projects to reshape authentication solutions. You'll design and build Cloud Native services and solutions using the latest best practices and technologies, and participate in providing an extensible ecosystem to enable new business models and opportunities.
You'll collaborate with software engineers, product architects, security specialists, and other stakeholders to contribute to product evolution and acquire new knowledge and skills. We're looking for someone with a passion for cloud computing, open-source technologies, and a desire to contribute to our solutions.
This role is open to candidates with residence in Austria and offers a hybrid work arrangement, with office time in Vienna (1-2 days/week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement infrastructure as code for various cloud platforms
- Implement Continuous Delivery solutions and automate deployment and testing processes
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions for different technology stacks or container orchestration platforms
- Perform Container Management and Orchestration
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science preferred, equivalent work experience considered
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
- 4+ years of professional experience as an Engineer, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of cloud computing, enterprise, and open-source technologies
- Virtualization and good knowledge of Linux
- Experience with tools like Maven/Gradle/NPMs, Jenkins, and Gitlab CI
- Infrastructure Provisioning experience and Continuous Delivery experience using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, CF Engine, Spacewalk
- Containers experience – Docker, Kubernetes, EKS
- Cloud Experience – Knowledge of cloud operations tasks in regard to scalability, deployments, and zero-downtime upgrades
- General cloud ops knowledge with at least one provider, private or public, such as attached volume lifecycle, auto scaling, cloud-config, security, instance lifecycle, etc.
- Troubleshooting large cloud infrastructure
