Senior Export Compliance Coordinator with a Focus on Process Optimization

Annual Remuneration:
The estimated annual gross remuneration for this position is €60,000 - €80,000, based on qualifications and professional experience. The remuneration is in line with the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry.
Job Description:
The Senior Export Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the ITS project management team with dual-use checks based on information from product management. This includes ensuring compliance with EU and US re-export control laws and regulations. The role will also involve monitoring and communicating the status of ongoing export compliance checks, coordinating product checks with the product responsible, and escalating when information is missing.
The Senior Export Compliance Coordinator will collaborate with Export Control and Order Processing on export compliance topics and regulations, and will take further actions to obtain export permission (preparation of EUC documents). Additionally, they will work with Purchasing to obtain relevant product compliance information from suppliers, provide knowledge and support to stakeholders, and contribute to the development and improvement of the export compliance workflow.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completed education (University or University of Applied Sciences, University of Technology) with a focus on industrial engineering, business engineering, or a related field
- Interest in export control topics and dealing with export regulations and laws
- Sound knowledge of spreadsheet functions and calculations, SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Basic understanding of project and process management
- Basic technical understanding is an advantage
- Independent processing of activities with a detailed way of working
- Critical and analytical thinking
- Mindset for continuous improvement and willingness to learn independently
- Business fluent knowledge in German and English (written/verbal)
