Your Responsibilities- You will advise internal teams on patent matters and coordinate the development and management of our patent portfolio.
- You will conduct patent searches, filings, and defenses, with occasional patent drafting.
- You will handle patent administration tasks, monitor deadlines, and assist with patent docket management.
- You will coordinate processes and strategies with external counsels and handle global patent prosecution.
- You will perform patent due diligence activities and support the evaluation of licenses and agreements.
We are looking for a highly experienced Patent Attorney with several years of experience in patent searches, drafting, and analysis. You should be admitted to the European Patent Office or the Austrian/German Patent Office. A university degree in a science/technology field (mechanical or electrical engineering) is required.
- You should have practical experience in patent drafting, with US patent experience and private practice beneficial.
- You should have know-how in collecting invention disclosures and conducting patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
- You should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be fluent in business English due to collaboration with cross-functional/international teams.

The minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 59,766.98 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
