Position: Principal Software Architect - Circular Economy

Your Role:

As a Principal Software Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and development of our next-generation products. This position requires close collaboration with our Hardware team to establish Software Interfaces that facilitate the future Hard-/Software Co-Design of our optimized solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and validate comprehensive Software architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership to a distributed Software Development team.
  • Establish Software Interfaces for effective Hard-/Software Co-Design.
  • Define, prioritize, and estimate Software Work-Packages at a high level.
  • Manage requirements effectively.
  • Support project planning initiatives.
  • Engage in internal stakeholder management.

Your Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a focus on Embedded Software and/or signal processing.
  • Extensive experience in Software architecture specification and Embedded Software Development on microcontrollers using C/C++ and scripting languages.
  • In-depth understanding of microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM), signal processing, and real-time operating systems.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership.
  • Familiarity with Requirements Management processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with peers.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
  • Experience with agile Software Development methodologies.
  • A collaborative and open-minded team player.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
