Principal Scientist Preclinical PK/PD Modelling Cancer Research
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Scientist to join our Vienna Discovery Research Team for cancer research. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping decisions regarding drug development, modes of action, and dosage regimens to achieve the desired therapeutic effect.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent PK/PD modelling in discovery research project teams in the realm of pharmacological cancer research.
- Perform high-quality PK/PD modelling and simulation analyses to support research projects.
- Identify modelling opportunities together with Boehringer's cancer research project teams.
- Interwork with research lab heads, modelling scientists, experimental lab scientists, and translational medicine researchers for model establishment, parametrization, training, and interpretation.
- Coach and support the development of junior research scientists.
- Represent and coordinate Research DMPK disciplines in international Research Project Teams.
- PhD in PK/PD modelling or a related scientific field with practical experience in ODE-based modelling.
- Solid skills in one relevant programming language (R, Python, MATLAB).
- Industry experience, experience in the preclinical PKPD field, or experience in oncology are considered beneficial.
- Excellent English communication skills.
