Cleaning Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Kepler Universitätsklinikum. As a Cleaning Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, including general stations, institutes, offices, operating rooms, and intensive care units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect all areas, including floors, walls, and surfaces, to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers, to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
• Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
• Participate in deep cleaning and sanitizing of high-risk areas, such as operating rooms and intensive care units.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have a strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Have good communication and teamwork skills.
• Be responsible and self-motivated.
• Be willing to work irregular shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Experience in cleaning, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (an advantage for those living outside of Linz).
