Software Architect

As a member of Hexagon's Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial division, you will play a key role in planning and implementing dispatching systems for various organizations. Your responsibilities will include analysis, specification, configuration, installation, testing, acceptance, and commissioning of software solutions, both on-site at the customer and remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Implementation: Contribute to the planning and implementation of dispatching systems for police, fire department, rescue services, and industrial security.
  • Software Solutions: Analyze, specify, configure, install, test, accept, and commission software solutions for customers.
  • Customer Support: Act as an interface between customers and our development department, support team, and project management.

Requirements:

  • Education: Hold a technical degree (e.g., in geoinformatics, computer science, information technology, or surveying) or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Possess good knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL Server or MySQL), IT skills in Microsoft operating systems, servers, and software architecture, and programming languages (especially Java or .Net).
  • Language Skills: Have very good German and good English language skills in both written and spoken form.
