Technical Procurement Specialist

VACE Engineering GmbH offers a dynamic work environment where you can grow professionally. As a Technical Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing equipment procurement processes.
Your primary duties will include:
- Analyzing customer contracts for equipment-related terms and conditions.
- Collaborating with the engineering department to prepare tender documents.
- Evaluating supplier proposals and selecting the best match for each project.
- Maintaining close communication with purchasing and project management teams.
- Overseeing supplier performance and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Working with logistics to ensure smooth equipment deliveries.
- Preparation of customer documentation for various project stages.
- Providing support to site teams during erection and commissioning phases.
- Contribution to claim management efforts related to equipment.
- Participating in project closure and lessons learned exercises.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, industrial engineering).
- Experience in technical procurement or a similar field.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
- Excellent language skills in English and German.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
